Next Big Thing have created two modern houses looking out over the River Mersey. The new design will take full advantage of the sea views without compromising the adjacent properties’ outlook or privacy.

Many of the properties on the road have tried to maximise their views out to sea by having balconies and some living space to the first floor. The panoramic views of the Mersey Estuary and Irish Sea are the strongest aspects of the site. Therefore, we decided to build a dwelling that has all the living, dining, kitchen and terrace areas on the first floor whilst the bedrooms and ancillary spaces are located to the ground floor.
